[Yako]

A tattoo artist primarily focused on traditional Japanese tattoos.

Yako has a deep love for snakes and has spent years observing and caring for them. Over ten years ago, he reflected on the nature of snakes, realizing that, unlike social creatures, they don't experience love in the way humans do.

Without limbs or eyelids, snakes are creatures that bite and coil, crawling on the earth and swallowing food whole. Their relentless nature and the mystery of their shedding process have fascinated him.

Despite being reptiles, many snake species are viviparous, and some are even worshiped as gods, while others are seen as symbols of evil. Snakes can induce fear in creatures many times their size, and there are species that thrive in the sea or glide from tree to tree.

In recent years, Yako was moved to tears after reading an article in National Geographic about the decline of snake species living in the Tibetan Plateau at altitudes of 4500 meters, where temperatures can drop to -20°C.
